Join us in welcoming author, Allen Eskens, on Saturday, October 19, at 2:00 p.m., in the Milford Community Center. Allen Eskens is a retired Minnesota defense attorney turned author. His writings of mystery, thriller, and suspense has earned him multiple awards. During his visit, the audience will experience a presentation and book signing. This free event sponsored by the Friends of the Milford Library, Arnolds Park Library, and the Spirit Lake Public Library.
Join Milford Memorial Library for our weekly Building Bookworms Storytime on Mondays at 10:30 a.m. Take a look below for our themes. All materials and services are provided by the library free to participants. All kids and their adults are welcome to stay after storytime and mingle. Any interested individuals are welcome to join MML's Book Club on Tuesday, October 15, at 1:00 p.m. The featured book, The Haunting of Hill House by Shirley Jackson, can be found in our library. It is not necessary to attend all of the meetings, and you are welcome to come and go as you please.
Join us on Tuesday, October 22, at 7:00 p.m., at the Arnolds Park Library, for a fun night of painting. Any skill level is invited to recreate a painting following step-by-step instructions from the original artist. All of the supplies will be provided by the libraries. There are only 25 spots available so pre-register at the Arnolds Park Public Library, Spirit Lake Public Library, or the Milford Memorial Library. The cost is $15.00.
