Miss Becca, MML's Youth Librarian, provides the community with various library programs and activities, outreach opportunities to daycares, preschools, and classrooms, and a themed Summer Reading Program.

Library programs during the school year include Public Playdates, Building Bookworms, Afterschool Activity, and Dickinson County ISU 4-H Clover Kids. The Summer Reading Program runs from June through August.

Everything above is f

4-H Clover Kids and the Summer Reading Program require registration.

MML also has a Youth Area that is filled with many kinds of books, monthly book displays, educational STEM/STEAM bags, and interactive sensory and dynamic play items.

The 2022 Youth Summer Reading Program: Read Beyond the Beaten Path is coming up in June and July.  Miss Becca and the other two local libraries (Spirit Lake, Arnolds Park) have planned so many fun and interactive programs for the entire family.  Everything kicks off with two free movie showings on Thursday, June 2, at 10:30 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. at the Milford Pioneer Theatre.  All three libraries will also have information about their individual activities and reading portions.  Mark down on your family calendar that Miss Becca is having Building Bookworms on Mondays at 10:30 a.m. and Summer Shenanigans on Wednesdays at 1:00 p.m. at the Milford Memorial Library.  For further information and any questions, get in contact with Miss Becca (338-4643, beccas@milford.lib.is.us) or stop by MML.
