An open meeting of the Board of Trustees for the Milford Memorial Library will be held this Wednesday, February 1, at 5:30 p.m. A free computer class will be led by Jeff Cookinham after the meeting.

The Milford Memorial Library Adult Craft Series is back! Join MML director Beth Sorenson for "Recycled CD Sun Catchers" on Wednesday, March 8, from 5:30 p.m. – 7:30 p.m., at the library. All students in 5th – 12th grade are invited to come to MML for the Libratory STEM program all day Monday, March 13. We are learning to fuse plastic and make journals/sketch books. MML will have a Libratory STEM program each month. The Libratory Program teaches students Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics in a relaxed atmosphere. Join area libraries on Tuesday, March 14, from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m., at Arnolds Park Library for a fun night of painting, community, and snacks! Register early because there are only 30 spots available. The cost for early registration is $7.50 and registration the day of the event is $15. Those interested can register at the Arnolds Park Public Library, Spirit Lake Public Library, and the Milford Memorial Library. Attendees of any skill level are invited to recreate a beautiful painting by following step-by-step instructions from the artist who created the original painting. Participants will be painting on a 16 x 20 canvas and all the supplies are provided by the libraries. Mark your calendars for Paint Night at the Library! IGL TeleConnect will be offering monthly tech classes led by Tech Support Consultant Mak Kloewer. Come to the Milford Memorial Library on Tuesday, February 14, at 2:00 p.m. for “Tech Tuesday’s with Mak.” These classes are geared toward those who do not feel they are tech-savvy. February’s topic will include “how to search online.” There will also be opportunities for participants to ask questions. Classes are free and seats are limited. Participants are asked to bring their mobile devices.
