Milford Memorial Library will be closed on Friday, December 31, and Saturday, January 1, in observance of the New Year’s holiday. The library will be open on Monday, January 3, at 9:30 a.m. We wish you a safe and fun holiday weekend.
Thank you to all of our patrons whom donated food to Dickinson County Upper Des Moines Food Pantry. Because of your generosity, Dickinson County Upper Des Moines will be able to assist more families.
On Wednesday, December 3, at 5:30 p.m., an open meeting of the Board of Trustees for the Milford Memorial Library will take place in the Milford Community Center. The agenda will be posted on MML’s website and front bulletin board 24 hours in advance of the meeting. Everyone is welcome to attend and offer their thoughts in order to make MML a better library.
Celebrate Iowa’s 175th Birthday, on December 28, with help from MML! Our Iowa collection includes, books, authors, movies, magazines, and the Iowa and local history section. Make sure to look at our cake pans; because what is a birthday without a cake?

Please plan to stop by Milford Memorial Library throughout January 2022. Miss Becca will have three Building Bookworms at 10:30 a.m. on the following Mondays: January 3 (theme: bears), January 17 (theme: snowmen), and January 31 (theme: penguins). There will be stories, songs/rhymes, coloring/activity sheets, and a simple craft. It is open to all ages and abilities. Afterschool Activity will be at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday, January 13, with the activity being air dry clay. This program is ideal for all abilities of Preschool-4 th Grade youth.
