Summer Reading Program is in full swing! Reading Logs for all ages can now be picked up at MML and can be completed from now until Friday, August 2. The Youth program is for kids up to 4th grade, Young Adult is for 4th through 12th grades, and Adult is for everyone else.
Tuesday, June 4, join Milford Memorial Library, Arnolds Park Public Library, and Spirit Lake Public Library at Central Park in Arnolds Park for the Iowa PBS STEAM Stations. This is a come and go event with two sessions, 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. This is a free activity and no registration is required. This event is sponsored by the Arnolds Park Library, Milford Memorial Library, and Spirit Lake Library.
Thursday, June 6, at the Pearson Lakes Art Center Overall Buddies will be preforming at 10:30 a.m. and 7:00 p.m. Miss Lori Lynn Ahrends will sing songs that promote education, help grow self-confidence, curiosity, joy, awareness, and teach social skills. This is a free program and does not require registration. This is being sponsored by the Arnolds Park Library, Milford Memorial Library, and Spirit Lake Library.
Youth Paint in the Park will be on Wednesday, June 12, at Central Park in Arnolds Parks. Times are 10:30 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. Registration is required for this free event. Everyone is welcome to join Milford Memorial Library for a showing of Over the Hedge, on Tuesday, June 11, at 2:00 p.m. Free popcorn will be available. No registration is required.
MML’s Young Adult Beach Reads are back! Beach bags will be located near the front desk. Each bag will have a book, snack, and a little item. Incoming 4th graders and 12th graders will only need to return the book to Milford Memorial Library.
