The Spring Egg Hunt is going on now at MML! Fourth graders and up may pick up an egg sheet that has 12 pictures in eggs. Each participant will need to find the objects on the paper, write down what each object is and where it is located. They will then bring the completed sheet to the circulation desk and their name will be entered into a drawing. The hunt ends on Friday, April 7. Thank you to the Friends of the Milford Library for providing the prize.
We are in the final days of MML’s Young Adult March Madness Box. Fourth through twelfth graders have until Friday, March 24, to register for this free activity. Materials for creating an origami table basketball court, a D.I.Y. dry-erase March Madness bingo card, and an indoor basketball hoop. On Wednesday, April 5, at 5:30 p.m., an open meeting of the Board of Trustees for the Milford Memorial Library will take place in the Milford Community Center. The agenda will be posted on MML’s website and front bulletin board at least 24 hours in advance of the meeting. Everyone is welcome to attend and offer their thoughts in order to make MML a better library.

Start planning your outdoor activities at MML. Our magazine collection has great titles such as: The Family Handyman, Mother Earth News, and Do-It-Yourself Magazine. Browse our non-fiction section for how to build a play set, landscape planning and planting, backpacking, camping, and other outdoor activities you might enjoy.
Milford Memorial Library: Youth Corner
Milford Memorial Library has one last friendly reminder for the grown-ups to please encourage their kiddo/s to complete their Read Across America BINGO card by this Friday, March 31. We have lots of cool prizes for two completed BINGOs, as well as a completed card can enter your kiddo/s into a large prize drawing.
The Spring Coloring Contest has begun, and coloring sheets can be found on MML’s Youth webpage or at our library. The turnaround is quick with all sheets due by Friday, April 7.
Lastly, please join us in April for a variety of youth programs including Building Bookworms at 10:30 a.m. on Mondays, April 3 and 10 (Birds, Rainbows), Afterschool Activity at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday, April 13 (Earth Day Dirt Cups), and Minds in Motion at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 18.
