Milford Memorial Library would like to congratulate Blind Date with a Book Winners, Pat and Mitzi. We would like to thank everyone who took part in this event. Thank you to the Friends of the Milford Library for providing the Blind Date with a Book prizes.
You are invited to Community Connections the third Thursday of each month at 10:30 a.m. The program is open to adults wanting to learn and socialize. Coffee and refreshments are provided. Join us Thursday, March 16, at 10:30 a.m., at the library. We will be learning about beekeeping from the Northwest Iowa Beekeepers Club. This is a free program and attendees are encouraged to socialize after presentations. Bring your questions!
An all ages Pokemon Trading and Collecting will be on Wednesday, March 15, from 3:00p.m.-5:00p.m. We will be joined by Ryan Schmidt from Okoboji Sports and Collectibles, who will have information about playing and collecting. You are welcome to bring your own cards to trade. This is a free event and registration is not required.
Join MML’s Open Book Discussion Group on Tuesday, March 21, at 1:00 p.m., as they discuss The Printed Letter Bookshop by Katherine Reay. Extra copies are available at the library. Attendance is not necessary for all meetings. Readers are welcome to come and go as they please.
On Wednesday, March 15, from 5:00 p.m.-7:00 p.m., join MML for our Adult Craft Series as we make a Wood Block Bunnies at Milford Memorial Library. This craft also comes in kit form. The cost for this craft is $5.00 and registration is required. Milford Memorial Library and Arnolds Park Library invite fourth through twelfth graders to Y.A.D.O., Young Adults’ Day Off, on Monday, March 13, from 12:00 p.m.-3:00 p.m. We will be having pizza, playing various types of games, watching McFarland, USA. MML’s Young Adult March Madness Challenge Box will be hitting the court on Tuesday, March 14, through Friday, March 24. Fourth through twelfth graders will be completing various basketball themed projects and activities. This is a free program, but it does require registration.
