The last session of MML's 4-H Clover kids (Kindergarten through 3rd Grade) will be on Thursday, May 23, at 3:30 p.m. (Roller Coasters). This program features fun hands on STEM activities that connect with literacy and standards from the Iowa Core. The primary goal of Clover Kids is to promote healthy development - mentally, physically, socially, and emotionally.
MML's Clover Kids will be taking a break throughout the summer, but it will start back up again in the fall. Please check MML's website and social media for upcoming dates and times as all participants need to be pre-registered with a small fee for a school year of activities.
Building Bookworms, formally known as Storytime, will meet Saturday, May 25, at 10:30 a.m. MML’s Youth Librarian, Miss Becca, enjoys sharing the love of reading and imagination with children and families of all ages. Building Bookworms features great stories, songs/rhymes, coloring sheets, activities, and a simple craft on a variety of themes. This week involves the kiddos creating a colorful mosaic ice cream cone out of a variety of paper. Families are welcome to stay and visit as long as they would like to after the program. There is no pre-registration and no cost to join this reading fun. All of the materials and services are provided by the library.
Milford Memorial Library will be CLOSED Monday, May 27, in observance of Memorial Day. We will see you on Tuesday, May 28, for our regular hours.
Paint Night is Wednesday, May 29, from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., at the Milford Memorial Library. Join others for a fun night of painting, fellowship, and snacks provided by the three local libraries.
