Milford Memorial Library News
On Wednesday, May 15, from 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., MML invites children and families to interact, have fun, and use their imaginations with a variety of toys, building items, puppets, coloring sheets, puzzles, and more. Guardians can relax and converse with other adults, or they are welcome to join in with the kids. All of the items are provided by the library. There is no pre-registration and no cost to join this discovery time.
On Wednesday, May 15, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m., MML’s Director, Gillian Anderson, will guide you in making a Stamped Bar Necklace perfect for a belated Mother’s Day, Graduation, or just because. All of the supplies will be provided by the library, and participants can take everything they make home. Pre-registration is required with the cost of the activity being $5.00.
Join the Milford Library's Open Book Discussion Group the third Tuesday of each month at 1:00 p.m. This group is open to all. It's not necessary to attend all meetings. Come and go as you please! The book for this month is Fly Girls.
Paint Night is Wednesday, May 29, from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., at the Milford Memorial Library. Join others for a fun night of painting, fellowship, and snacks provided by the three local libraries. Any skill level is invited to recreate a 16 x 20 painting following step-by-step instructions from the original artist. All of the supplies will be provided by the libraries. There are only 30 spots available so pre-register at the Arnolds Park Public Library, Spirit Lake Public Library, or the Milford Memorial Library. The cost is $7.50 for early registration and $15 for registration on the day of the event.
Milford Memorial Library will be CLOSED Monday, May 27, in observance of Memorial Day. We will see you on Tuesday, May 28, for our regular hours.
