Join MML for our Adult Craft Series. Take time to relax and wash away the worries with MML’s Adult Craft: DIY Lavender Soap. This kit contains goats milk soap base, lavender essential oil, lavender petals, silicone mold, written instructions, and a link to the video tutorial. This craft does require pre-registration and the cost is $5.00. Participants can pick up their kits at the library Friday, February 12, Tuesday, February 16, and Wednesday, February 17. It is going to be an a-glazing February with MML’s Young Adult (4th – 12th graders) Subscription Box: Donut Worry, Be Happy. Sprinkled inside this box are the supplies for creating a Donut Worry, Be Happy sign, ring toss, and mason jar. The icing on the donut will a playlist, reading list, to-watch list, and recipes. Register for this free program by calling (712) 338-4643 or emailing [email protected]. This box will be coming out of the oven on Tuesday, February 9.
Do you need help planning a special Valentine’s Day? Milford Memorial Library has the elements you need. Plan and prepare your meal by borrowing cookbooks and a cake pan. Then curl up with your loved one to watch a movie from our movie collection.
Do you need to print a Valentine’s Day cards your sweetheart or maybe your kids are needing multiples for their classmates? MML will be happy to help you print these. Please email your document to [email protected]. Normal printing prices apply ($0.25 for black and white per page and $0.50 for color per page). You may pick up your printing or drop of your faxes during normal drive-up window hours.
Do you have an old photo of loved ones you would like to digitize? MML can help by scanning and emailing it to you. This could be a great way to share the love of family and friends during the Valentine’s Day holiday. When stopping by, please have photo and email addresses ready. You may stop by during normal drive-up window hours.
MML provides document faxing. Faxes are $3.00 for the first two pages and $0.50 per additional page. Faxes will be sent during normal drive-up window hours.

Milford Memorial Library has lots of new youth books arriving each week. The cold, snowy weather is a perfect time to snuggle in with some good books with your family. Feel free to preview new and old books through the online card catalog or MML’s Youth Page at www.milford.lib.ia.us. While you are there, check out the neat programs Miss Becca is up to during February. This includes Grab and Go Bags and Books (Groundhog Day and Valentine’s Day), as well as Book Bundles (princesses, emotions, colors, poems, Predator vs. Prey, and Spanish). Don’t wait another second!
