Join us on Tuesday, July 2, at 7:00 p.m., at the Arnolds Park Library. Any skill level is invited to recreate a painting following step-by-step instructions from Kris Walker. All of the supplies will be provided by the libraries. There are only 30 spots available so pre-register at the Arnolds Park Public Library, Spirit Lake Public Library, or the Milford Memorial Library. The cost is $15.00. Join us for Building Bookworms Storytime on Monday, July 1, at 10:30 a.m., as we welcome Miss Julie and her friends, as they lead youth through various steps of making all-natural products such as a glycerin soap loofah that comes from a real plant and a lip balm with perfect consistency in 100% recycled paper bond. This is a free program and does not require registration
Minds in Motion will be held on Monday, July 1, at 3:00 p.m. This free sensory playtime is a come and go event for young patrons and their adults.
Big Miracle will be showing at the Milford Library on Tuesday, July 2, at 2:00 p.m. Free popcorn will be available. No registration is required. Everyone is welcome.
For teens and tweens participating in the Summer Snapshot Scavenger Hunt, show your completed project to a librarian at Arnolds Park Library, Milford Library, or Spirit Lake Library, from Monday, July 1, through Wednesday, July 10. This must be done to receive your prize pack.
Join us for a visit with author Gene Gross on Wednesday, July 10th, at 7 p.m., in the Milford Community Center. He will discuss his new book "The Girl in the Net", a murder mystery set in the Iowa Great Lakes. This event is hosted by the Arnolds Park Library and Milford Memorial Library.
Reminder, Thursday, July 11, at 5:30 p.m., is the last chance for Youth (3rd grade and under) to turn in their completed bookmark punch card and receive a bowling ticket.
Friday, August 2, is the last day for all summer reading logs to be turned in and receive prizes.
