On Monday, June 24, at 10:30 a.m., at the Pearson Lakes Art Center, join Arnolds Park Library, Milford Library, and Spirit Lake Library for Sam Rezz, Circus Performer. Be wowed by Sam’s acrobatic skills and tricks. Some lucky audience members will be invited to the stage to show off their own acrobatic moves. This event is sponsored by the local libraries and no registration is required.
Absolute Science will be at Central Park on Thursday, June 27, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
Enjoy over 75 bubble stations with wands of different shapes and sizes. From 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., a giant foam blaster will be creating clouds of foam and bubbles. This event is sponsored by the Arnolds Park Library, Milford Library, and Spirit Lake Library. Registration is not required.
Minds in Motion will be held on Monday, June 24, at 3:00 p.m. This free sensory playtime is a come and go event for young patrons and their adults.
Disney’s Wall-E will be showing at the Milford Library on Tuesday, June 25, at 2:00 p.m. Free popcorn will be available. No registration is required. Everyone is welcome.
For teens and tweens participating in the Summer Snapshot Scavenger Hunt, show your completed project to a librarian at Arnolds Park Library, Milford Library, or Spirit Lake Library, from Monday, July 1, through Wednesday, July 10. This must be done to receive your prize pack.
Adults, MML has not left you out of the Summer Reading fun. Stop in and pick up a bookmark to log reading and activities to earn prizes. Prize one is a Milford Library prize pack which includes a pen, sticker, mug, and coupon for 1 free book at the Friends of the Milford Library Book Sale. Second prize is a coupon to a craft or paint night hosted by Milford Memorial Library. Lastly, the third prize is a reusable bag and metal bookmark.
Young Adult Bookmark Logs are due Friday, August 2. Bookmarks will be put into a drawing for three prizes. Prizes include an Aerogarden, Milford Bucks, and a lawn chair with a reading log and worm bookmark.
