Author Gene Gross will be giving a presentation and signing books on Wednesday, July 10th, at 7 p.m., in the Milford Community Center. He will discuss his new book "The Girl in the Net", a murder mystery set in the Iowa Great Lakes. This event is hosted by the Arnolds Park Library and Milford Memorial Library.
Join Milford Memorial Library on Wednesday, July 17, at 10:30 a.m., for Reading Rabbits. Miss Allysa from J.K. Pasture Farm in Morgan, Minnesota, will be putting on a special storytime for the bunny lovers. She will read a book, share information and stories, and of course, let the kids get up close with the fuzzy creatures. Kids are advised to be kind and gentle when handling the animals.
Join Miss Becca for a Building Bookworms Summer Storytime on Monday, July 8, at 10:30 a.m. We will read books, move our bodies, create a simple craft.
Minds in Motion will be held on Monday, July 1, at 3:00 p.m. This free sensory playtime is a come and go event for young patrons and their adults.
Hoot will be showing at the Milford Library on Tuesday, July 9, at 2:00 p.m. Free popcorn will be available. No registration is required. Everyone is welcome.
Any interested individuals are welcome to join MML's Book Club on Tuesday, July 16, at 1:00 p.m. This month is reader’s choice of a biography. It is not necessary to attend all of the book meetings, and you are welcome to come and go as you please.
The Teen and Tween Summer Snapshot Scavenger Hunts should be completed and shown to a librarian by Wednesday, July 10. This must be done to receive a prize pack.
Thursday, July 11, at 5:30 p.m., is the last chance for Youth (3rd grade and under) to turn in their completed bookmark punch card and receive a bowling ticket.
Friday, August 2, is the last day for all summer reading logs to be turned in and receive prizes.
