Milford Memorial Library News
On Wednesday, July 17, at 10:30 a.m., join Milford Memorial Library for Reading Rabbits. Miss Allysa from J.K. Pasture Farm in Morgan, Minnesota, will be putting on a special storytime for the bunny lovers. She will read a book, share information and stories, and of course, let the kids get up close with the fuzzy creatures. Kids are advised to be kind and gentle when handling the animals.
Any interested individuals are welcome to join MML's Book Club on Tuesday, July 16, at 1:00 p.m. This month is reader’s choice of a biography. It is not necessary to attend all of the book meetings, and you are welcome to come and go as you please.
Teens and Tweens who have turned in their Summer Snapshot Scavenger Hunt. You may pick up your completion prizes at your library from Monday, July 15, through Friday, July 19.
Join other volunteers and the library staff for book sale set-up beginning at 11:00 a.m., on Thursday, July 25, with pizza and a potluck to follow. Once everything is in place, let the shopping begin. Volunteers will get to shop early. Please let the library know if you plan to volunteer.
The Friends of the Milford Library are also in need of volunteers to work the book sale. Some extra help will be needed after the book sale on Saturday to clean up. For more information or to confirm your participation, please contact Milford Memorial Library at 712-338-4643 or [email protected].
Friday, August 2, is the last day for all summer reading logs to be turned in and receive prizes.
