We will be closed on Thursday, October 16, for Dickinson County Staff Development Day. Our staff will join other Dickinson County libraries for a day of learning on a variety of topics that will help us serve the community more efficiently.
All week we are celebrating Teen Read Week. For this week we are playing our own version of Clue. Try out your detective skills by solving one of our mysteries. Stop by and get your case from the sheriff. This Whodunit mystery includes your favorite book characters, their weapons of choice, and where they decided to do their dastardly deed. Don’t forget your magnifying glass and join us at the library for Whodunit.
On Wednesday, October 15, Library Jim will be available to help you with your career goals starting at 6:30 p.m.! He has many years of experience as a human resources consultant. Contact Jim at 338-4643 or [email protected] for more information or to ask any questions.
What is mostly round, orange, and related to fall? Pumpkins, of course, and this is the theme for our public storytime this Friday starting at 10 a.m. All are welcome to join Betty Naab, our children’s librarian, as she reads about pumpkins.
