Milford Memorial Library News:
The Milford Memorial Library is closed Thursday, November 28, and Friday, November 29, for the Thanksgiving holiday. The library will be open Saturday, November 30, from 10:00 a.m. – 1:30 p.m.
Milford Memorial Library is hosting the Festival of Trees again this year for Milford’s Holiday Fantasy. On Saturday, November 23, participants will be able to start setting up their trees for the Festival of Trees. This year the Festival of Trees is Friday, December 6, from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m., during Milford’s Holiday Fantasy. We will have music from Teresa Ortman, refreshments by the Friends of the Library, and voting on trees. The awards this year are for best personal/family tree, best organization tree, best business tree, most creative, and librarian's choice. The Milford library hours are 9:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m. Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays, 9:30 a.m. – 8:00 p.m. on Wednesdays, and 10 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on Saturdays. MML invites everyone to stop by the library during the 2019 Holiday Fantasy Celebration. On Saturday, December 7, starting at 11:30 a.m., kiddos are invited to make a simple holiday themed craft with Miss Becca and some wonderful volunteers. All of the items will be provided by the library, and there is no pre-registration. Come join the holiday spirit at MML!
The library is also hosting the food drive this year for Holiday Fantasy. This ongoing food drive for Dickinson County Upper Des Moines will start on Monday, November 25, and end on Friday, December 13. Nonperishable food items can be brought to the Milford Memorial Library.

Don’t let the colder weather keep you from enjoying Milford Memorial Library. Miss Becca has two great programs left in November, and they are free and open to all ages.
Public Playdate will be at 5:30 P.M. on Wednesday, November 20. MML will provide all of the fun, interactive items while you bring the wonderful kiddos to meet and play with others.
Building Bookworms: Totally Thankful will be at 10:30 A.M. on Monday, November 25. Miss Becca has two cute stories, a song and poem, coloring/activity sheets, and a homemade, thoughtful craft for the littles.
