Milford Memorial Library is hosting the Festival of Trees again this year for Milford’s Holiday Fantasy. On Monday, November 28, participants will be able to start setting up their trees for the Festival of Trees. This year the Festival of Trees is Friday, December 2, from 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., during Milford’s Holiday Fantasy. We will have a program, refreshments by the Friends of the Library, and voting on trees. The awards this year are for best personal/family tree, best organization tree, most creative, and librarian's choice. All winners will receive both a $20 gift certificate to Perkins and $20 in Milford Bucks from the Friends of the Milford Memorial Library. Anyone can set up a tree when the library is open. The Milford library hours are 9:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m. Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays, 9:30 a.m. – 8:00 p.m. on Wednesdays, and 10 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on Saturdays. We look forward to seeing all the creative trees around the library. For more information contact the library at 712-338-4643 or [email protected].
