Join us for great stories and much more every Friday morning at 10:00! Betty, our children's librarian, looks forward to sharing stories with you! No pre-registration is necessary. The theme this week is "Baby Farm Animals."
The library will be closed Monday, May 25, in honor of Memorial Day.
Children’s Summer Reading Program
The theme for the 2015 Children’s Summer Reading Program is “Every Hero Has a Story.” Starting Tuesday, June 9, at 10 a.m., we will have Lisa Laird from Pockets Full of Fun with “You Might Be a Hero!!” Join us every Tuesday and Friday at 10 a.m. through July 7 for stories, crafts, drama, and more! Local superheroes and two well know presenters will provide educational entertainment.
Young people of all abilities from preschool to 4th grade are invited to participate free of charge. Incentives and prizes add to the excitement and challenge the children to keep reading, encourage them to continue using the library and maintain their reading skills during the summer vacation. This programming is made possible because of the generous donations of many businesses in our community who provide funds for presenters, supplies, prizes, and incentives. If you would be willing to make a donation, contact Betty Naab, children’s librarian, at 338-4643 or e-mail her at bettyn@milfordlibrary.net. Thank you for supporting the Milford Memorial Library’s Summer Reading Program.
