Next week, March 9 – 13, is Teen Tech Week and the theme is “Libraries are for making…” All young adults’ 5th – 12th grades are invited to come to the library this week for fun programs. All week we have Teen Tech Week Bingo. Students will get a bingo card with different tasks in each square. Once they have completed enough squares to make a bingo they will turn in their bingo card for a piece of pizza at the end of the week. On Wednesday, March 11, at 2 p.m., students can bring their school laptops to the library to learn how to edit videos. The library will provide a video for students to edit. Friday, March 13, we will be watching the movie Agent Cody Banks at the library. There will be popcorn for everyone and pizza for those who completed Teen Tech Week Bingo. Join us and see all the Milford Memorial Library has to offer.
An open meeting of the Board of Trustees for the Milford Memorial Library will be held Wednesday, March 4, at 5:30 p.m. A free computer class will be led by Jeff Cookinham after the meeting.
Children between the grades of pre-school and 4th grade are invited to come to the library next week on Thursday, March 12, for our after school craft party. The theme this month is “Irish Fun” and we will have a craft, book talk, and snacks.
The library needs some spring cleaning! Join your fellow volunteers for March spring cleaning at the library. Beginning at 10 a.m. on Thursday, March 12, we will spend 45 minutes dusting the library shelves. Coffee and cake will be served following the dusting and then we will play 3 rounds of bingo for some fabulous prizes. Bring a friend and get an extra free space on your card.
Public story time is this Friday, March 6, at 10 a.m., and the theme is “Let’s Count.” Join us for fun stories and a coloring sheet.
