MML’s book club, the Open Book Discussion Group, invites any interested individuals to come and discuss the featured book, Rosemary: The Hidden Kennedy Daughter by Kate Clifford Larson, on Tuesday, November 16, at 1:00 p.m. Copies can be found at the library. It is not necessary to attend all of the meetings, and you are welcome to come and go as you please.
Join MML for our Adult Craft Series as we make Fabric Pumpkins on Wednesday, November 17, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., at Milford Memorial Library. This craft also comes in kit form. The kit will include: fabric, stuffing, thread, needle, stem and instructions. The cost for this craft is $5.00 and registration is required. MML’s Young Adult Subscription Box: Memories will be available Tuesday, November 9, through Friday, November 19. Fourth through twelfth graders will decorate and fill a personal time capsule. They will write a letter to their future selves about who they are now and who they hope to become. Also included are fun memory games, Miss Paige’s favorite recipes, reading list, and playlist. Subscription Boxes may be picked up at the library.
MML’s Festival of Trees is back! Participants may bring in their trees starting Monday, November 22 through Friday, December 3. Trees will be judged on Saturday, December 4, during Holiday Fantasy. Tree categories are the following: Best Business, Best Personal/ Family, Best Organization, Most Creative, and Librarian’s Choice. Milford Memorial Library: Youth Corner
Building Bookworms will take place at 10:30 a.m. on Mondays, November 15 and 29. The themes will focus on turkeys and owls. Storytimes include stories, rhymes/songs, coloring/activity sheets, and simple crafts. Afterschool Activity will take place at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday, November 11. The craft will be glitter slime. Everything will be in person and take place at Milford Memorial Library.
