This month MML’s Adult Craft Series will have a special guest! Join Ann Williamsen for card making on Wednesday, November 15, at 5:00 p.m., and learn the art of making handcrafted paper cards. Participants will get the chance to work with the different tools Ann has and create their own card. Cost for this program is $5 and registration is required. Everyone is welcome to Community Connections on the third Thursday of each month at 10:30 a.m. Join us on Thursday, November 16, at 10:30 a.m., at the library. This month Gillian will be speaking about RAGBRAI. Community Connections is open to adults wanting to learn and socialize. Coffee and refreshments are provided by the Friends of the Milford Library. This is a free program and attendees are encouraged to socialize after presentations. Bring your questions!
Any fourth through twelfth graders looking to level up their game are invited to join Milford Memorial Library, Arnolds Park Library, and Exile Gaming for Young Adults’ Video Game Day will be on Monday, November 13, from 1:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m., at Milford Memorial Library. Exile Gaming will be providing game consoles and multiplayer games. This is a free, come-and-go event with no registration required.
MML’s Young Adult Pumpkin Tic-Tac-Toe Challenge Box, is available Tuesday, November 14, through Tuesday, November 21. This is a free activity, but does require registration. Milford Memorial Library: Youth Corner
Milford Memorial Library is starting out November with lots of interactive programs. Afterschool Adventures (small group fun) will take place at 3:30 p.m. this Thursday, November 9. We will be making foil art which involves using string, foil, and markers to make something unique. Then we have two Building Bookworms (storytime) at 10:30 a.m. on Mondays, November 13 and 27. The first one will focus on Splat the Cat (craft: painted shapes Splat), and the second one will focus on foxes (craft: yarn wrapped fox). Lastly, we have another Minds in Motion (sensory play) at 10:30 a.m. at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, November 20.
