On Saturday, December 4, Milford Memorial Library will be hosting their Holiday Open House during Milford’s Holiday Fantasy. Join us from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., for kid crafts (make and take or to go), visits with Santa, Festival of Trees voting, and treats provided by the Friends of the Milford Library.
Milford Memorial Library is collecting non-perishable food items for the Dickinson County Upper Des Moines Food Pantry until Friday, December 18. Let’s fill their cupboards for the holidays!
MML’s Young Adult Subscription Box: Let’s Build a Snowman will be available Tuesday, December 14, through Thursday, December 23. Young Adults, 4th through 12th graders, will be creating three different types of snowmen out of beads, paper, and a wooden spoon. Wintery inspired playlist, watch list, reading list, and recipe will also be included. This is a free activity, but registration in required. Milford Memorial Library: Youth Corner
The last November Building Bookworms storytime will take place at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, November 29. The theme will be owls with the craft being a paper plate owl.
Miss Becca has three different December programs that are free and require no registration. The first one will be a simple holiday kid’s craft at Milford’s Holiday Fantasy. This will take place on Saturday, December 4, during normal library hours. The second opportunity will be Afterschool Activity at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday, December 9. The activity will be iron beads. The final program will be Building Bookworms (storytime) at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, December 13. The theme will be holidays with the craft being a jingle bell noisemaker.
