Read Beyond the Beaten path with MML’s Young Adult Summer Reading Program. Fourth through twelfth graders will complete reading challenges and earn points towards prizes. The Young Adult Summer Reading Program will begin on Thursday, June 2, through Wednesday, August 3. Register in person or with bookpoints at https://bookpoints.milfordlibrary.net/. MML’s 2022 Summer Reading Program will also include three YA Subscription Boxes with the following themes: Survival, Camping, and Gardening. The YA Subscription Box: Survival will be available for pick up starting Tuesday, June 7 through Friday, June 17. This box includes making a do-it-yourself compass, barometer, field journal, and information to learn about knot tying. Each of the Young Adult Summer Reading Subscription Boxes will include a themed recipe, playlist, and reading list. We look forward to having your Young Adult join us! The Milford Memorial Library will have an Adult Summer Reading Program again this year! All you have to do is pick up a bookmark at the library and fill it out throughout the summer or participate on bookpoints.milfordlibrary.net. You can bring the bookmark back to the library or log your reading online anytime between June 2 and August 5 for prizes. The Adult Summer Reading Program activities include the Adult Craft Series and Paint Night at the Library events throughout June and July. We encourage you to use the library in many different ways.
Join MML for our Adult Craft Series on Wednesday, June 15, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., at Milford Memorial Library. The craft will also come in kit form. The cost for the Adult Craft Series is $5.00 and registration is required. You can register by contacting the Milford Memorial Library or online by going to http://milfordlibrary.weebly.com/adult-program-registration.html.

The 2022 Youth Summer Reading Program: Read Beyond the Beaten Path starts this Thursday, June 2. The three local libraries will be having a Kick Off Celebration with two free movie showings at 10:30 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. at the Milford Pioneer Theatre. Remember that if you bring two nonperishables, you can get one free popcorn. Also at the theatre, Miss Becca will have information on her own library programs that fall on Mondays and Wednesdays. She has a variety of nature and camping themed storytimes and small group activities in June and July.
