Paint Night at the Library is on Tuesday, May 23, at 7:00 p.m., at the Arnolds Park Library. This month we will be pour painting. All of the supplies will be provided by the libraries. There are only 30 spots available so pre-register at the Arnolds Park Public Library, Spirit Lake Public Library, or the Milford Memorial Library. The cost is $15 for registration. On Monday, May 29, Milford Memorial Library will be closed inobservance of Memorial Day. We look forward to seeing everyone back on Tuesday, May 30, at 9:30 a.m. We wish you a happy and safe Memorial Day.
Join the Lakes Area Libraries for our 2023 Summer Reading Kick-Off Celebration on Thursday, June 1, at the Milford Pioneer Theatre. There will be a free showing of Trolls at 10:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. Bring two non-perishable food items and receive a FREE popcorn. Other concession items will be available. You may pick up Summer Reading program information while you are there.

At Milford Memorial Library, we have been working hard on activities and events for the 2023 Summer Reading Program: Find Your Voice. All ages will have summer programs to attend and prizes to earn in June, July, and August. Registration and reading logs will be available starting Thursday, June 1, at Milford Memorial Library or at the Summer Reading Kick-off Celebration, information provided above. Reading logs and programs are designed for Youth (completed 3rd Grade and younger, Young Adult (completed 3rd Grade through completed 12th Grade), and Adult. We are looking forward to helping create memories of fun, growing, and learning this summer.
