Any interested individuals are welcome to attend Open Book Discussion Group at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 15 at the Milford Memorial Library. The monthly featured book is entitled A Thousand Acres by Jane Smiley, and it can be found on MML’s Book Clubs shelf.
Adult Craft Series will be from 5:30-7:30 p.m. on Wednesday, May 16 in Milford’s Community Room. The craft will be color blocked marble coasters. Step-by-step directions will be discussed and shown, as well as all of the materials will be provided by the library. Pre-registration is required with the cost of the activity being $5.00.
All ages of children are encouraged to attend Public Storytime: Teddy Bear Party at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, May 18 at MML. Miss Betty will share a story, and then the kids can color a coloring sheet and complete some related activities. All of the materials will be provided, and there is no pre-registration and no cost to attend this event.
Caroline and Hank will be available from 10:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. on Saturday, May 19 at MML. Hank the dog loves to meet children and is a great listener. Children who are either beginning readers or want to improve reading out loud are encouraged to read to Hank. Children will be able to read on a first come, first serve basis.
