On Monday, May 31, Milford Memorial Library will be closed in observance of Memorial Day. Normal drive-up hours will resume on Tuesday, June 1, at 10:00 a.m. We hope everyone has a safe and happy weekend.
Paint Night sign up is going on now for Tuesday, May 25! To pre-register, contact the library at (712) 338-4643 and the cost is $5. Pick up your Paint Night Kit on Friday, May 21, Monday, May 24, or Tuesday, May 25, from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and you can pay when you pick up your kit. Kits include pavers for canvas, paint, paint brush, and instructions. You can do this kit on your own and a special video link will be provided for visual instructions. If you have any questions contact the library.
The animal magic is starting to dwindle for the MML Young Adult Subscription Box: Talk with the Animals. You still have time to register by calling 712-338-4643 or emailing [email protected] and receive your box of animal inspired activities. Last day for registering is Thursday, May 27.
Milford Memorial Library participates in the State of Iowa Interlibrary Loan system. This program allows us to borrow materials from other libraries for our patrons. This service is used when MML and other local libraries do not have the desired material. Patrons are able to interlibrary loan materials for $1.00 per material. Once the interlibrary loan is received, patrons will be contacted that their loan is at the library. The check out process for an interlibrary loan is the same as with other materials. Patrons will return interlibrary loan materials back to MML and we will send materials back to the home libraries.
Milford Memorial Library can help with your printing, copying, faxing, and scanning needs. Printing and copying is $0.25 for black and white per side and $0.50 for color per side. Faxing is $3.00 for the first two pages and $0.50 for each page after. For more information, please call 712-338-4643 or email [email protected].
Milford Memorial Library’s Drive-Up Window hours are Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and Wednesday 10:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.
Milford Memorial Library: Youth Corner
Milford Memorial Library has an awesome 2021 Summer Reading Program planned for your whole family. There is something each day of the week, and MML has some amazing incentives for reading and attending the programs. These include gift certificates to Arnold’s Park, Kindermusik, Pearson Lakes Art Center, Subway, Bedell YMCA, and Milford Pioneer Theatre. So grab your friends and family to join us at 6:00 P.M. on Thursday, June 10, at Florence Park for a Kick Off Celebration. There will be socially safe food, tattoos, and SRP information, but please wear your masks. We look forward to seeing everyone soon!
