Milford Memorial Library would like to congratulate our Blind Date with a Book Winners. Our youth winner was Landon and out adult winner was Doug. We would like to thank everyone who took part in this event.
Join MML for our Adult Craft Series as we make an Embroidery Hoop Bunny on Wednesday, March 16, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., at Milford Memorial Library. This craft also comes in kit form. The kit will include a wood embroidery hoop, fabric, yarn and instructions. The cost for this craft is $5.00 and registration is required. Fourth through twelfth graders are welcome to join us at Arnolds Park Public Library on Tuesday, March 15, from 10:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. for Y.A.D.O., Young Adults’ Day Off. Young Adults will be creating glow-in-the-dark clings, eating pizza, and watching the movie Ghostbusters: Afterlife. Cost is $5.00 for materials. Register by calling Milford Memorial Library at 712-338-4643 or Arnolds Park Public Library at 712-332-2033. Registration is required.
MML’s book club, the Open Book Discussion Group, invites any interested individuals to come and discuss the featured book, Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen, on Tuesday, March 15, at 1:00 p.m. Copies can be found at the library. It is not necessary to attend all of the meetings, and you are welcome to come and go as you please.
MML’s Young Adult Subscription Box: Avengers: Some Assembly Required will be available on Tuesday, March 8. Fourth through twelfth graders will be assembling a DIY Tesseract, an Infinity Stone Keychain and have a recipe to make Hulk Tacos. Monday, March 28, through Friday, April 8, MML’s Spring Egg Hunt will be taking place. Fourth graders through adults are encouraged to come look around the library and locate objects from the Spring Egg Hunt sheet. Once completed and turned in at the library’s front desk, names will be entered into a drawing.
On Wednesday, March 9, at 5:30 p.m., an open meeting of the Board of Trustees for the Milford Memorial Library will take place in the Milford Community Center. Everyone is welcome to attend and offer their thoughts in order to make MML a better library.

Miss Becca will also have Afterschool Activity: Lego building at 3:30 p.m. on March 10, Building Bookworms: St. Patrick’s Day at 10:30 a.m. on March 14, and Building Bookworms: Pete the Cat at 10:30 a.m. on March 28.
