Tuesday, July 9, at 1:00 p.m., Milford Memorial Library Young Adult activity will be held. Young adults will be making galaxy inspired candy bark and sharpie watercolors. If weather permits, they will also be cooking s’mores in a DIY solar oven. There is a free program and pre-registration is not required. All materials will be provided by the library.
On Wednesday, July 10, at 2:00 p.m., Ilene Clark will be presenting information on Downsizing and Decluttering. The amount of goods one can accumulate over many years can be overwhelming. Nothing should be off limits. Either use it, love it — or leave it. Don’t wait, it’s time to clean out every nook and cranny! Fans of Tidying Up with Marie Kondo will enjoy this presentation. This program is sponsored by the Friends of the Milford Memorial Library.
Registration for “A Universe of Stories” Summer Reading Programs are still open. You can pick up a registration form at the library or registration forms are available on our website.
MML will be closed on Thursday, July 4, to celebrate Independence Day.
MML's Youth Corner
Milford Memorial Library will have a Public Playdate at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, July 1. All of the items are provided by library, and there is no pre-registration.
Book Buddies will begin at 9:30 a.m. on Friday, July 12, at MML. Kiddos are invited to read and discuss their books with a friendly community member in a relaxed, informal setting. Registration Forms are available at the library, as well as adult volunteers can contact Miss Becca at the library.
Lastly, please keep working on those Reading Logs for leveled prizes and a drawing at the end of the summer!
