The last day of the 2018 Children’s Summer Reading Program: Libraries Rock! will be at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, July 24, at Florence Park. MML will be having inflatables and pizza at no cost for the summer reading participants. Music Notes Prize Sheets can be turned in at MML for the different levels of prizes until the start of the upcoming school year.
Paint Night at the Library will be at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, July 24, at the Arnolds Park Public Library. Any skill level is invited to recreate this month’s painting with all of the supplies being provided by the three local libraries. Pre-registration is required with the cost being $7.50 (early) or $15.00 (day of). Contact any of the local libraries for more information.
The Young Adult’s Summer Reading Program will be at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 26, at MML. There will be a short read aloud, a colorful wind chime activity, and small incentives for the participants. All of the materials for this free program will be provided by the library. Students are encouraged to keep reading and logging their books until Wednesday, August 1, for some amazing prizes.
Jump Start to Reading (one-on-one reading) will be at 9:30 a.m. and Stories and Crafts: Ants Go Marching will be at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, July 27. Both programs are free, and all of the supplies will be provided by the library.
