MML will be closed on Independence Day, but an open meeting of the Board of Trustees for the Milford Memorial Library will be at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday, July 5 in the Community Room. The agenda will be posted on MML’s website and front bulletin board at least 24 hours in advance of the meeting.
We will have another Jump Start to Reading at 9:30 a.m. on Friday, July 6 in the library. This program is a way for students to work on their reading skills in a one-on-one setting. Registration forms are available, and adult volunteers can contact Betty at the library. Following Jump Start, everyone is encouraged to stay for Stories and Crafts at 10:00 a.m. in the Community Room. This free program is geared for Preschool through 4th Grade students. This week’s theme will be Yoo-Hoo, Ladybug, and all of the supplies for the crafts will be provided by the library.
Our July calendar is out, and we have so many fun things going on at MML. You can stay up-to-date through our social media (website, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Pinterest). We have Summer Reading Programs (children, young adults, adults), an Amish Program, Jump Start to Reading, Stories and Crafts, Open Book Discussion Group, Adult Craft Series, Caroline and Hank, Paint Night, and our annual events for Pioneer Days.
