Volunteers are needed to work at The Friends of the Milford Memorial Library Book Sale on Friday, July 23 and Saturday, July 24. Shifts are in two-hour increments starting at 8:30 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. on Friday, July 23, and from 8:30 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 24. The Book Sale offers a variety of items for all individuals at great prices. All of the proceeds go to the Friends of the Milford Memorial Library. This group is a non-profit organization that helps support the Milford Memorial Library through volunteering and financial assistance. MML’s photo booth will be out at Florence Park on Friday, July 23, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Come capture crazy-fun memories of the 2021 Milford Pioneer Days. This activity is open to everyone, and there will be props for you to use in your pictures. A free will donation will be accepted that day.
Join others Tuesday, July 27, at 7:00 p.m., at the Arnolds Park Library, for a fun night of painting, fellowship, and snacks provided by the three local libraries. Any skill level is invited to recreate a painting following step-by-step instructions from the original artist. All of the supplies will be provided by the libraries. There are only 30 spots available so pre-register at the Arnolds Park Public Library, Spirit Lake Public Library, or the Milford Memorial Library. The cost is $10.00 for early registration and $15 for registration on the day of the event. Registrants will need to pay prior to the event to secure their spot.
