Please join other volunteers and the library staff for book sale set up beginning at 11:00 a.m., on Thursday, July 22., with a potluck to follow. Once everything is in place, let the shopping begin. Volunteers are needed to work at The Friends of the Milford Memorial Library Book Sale on Friday, July 23 and Saturday, July 24. Shifts are in two-hour increments starting at 8:30 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. on Friday, July 23, and from 8:30 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 24. Thursday, July 22 from 2:00 p.m. -5:00p.m.

Saturday, July 24 from 9:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.
The Book Sale offers a variety of items for all individuals at great prices. All of the proceeds go to the Friends of the Milford Memorial Library. This group is a non-profit organization that helps support the Milford Memorial Library through volunteering and financial assistance. MML’s photo booth will be out at Florence Park on Friday, July 23, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Come capture crazy-fun memories of the 2021 Milford Pioneer Days. This activity is open to everyone, and there will be props for you to use in your pictures. A free will donation will be accepted that day.
Join others Tuesday, July 27, at 7:00 p.m., at the Arnolds Park Library, for a fun night of painting, fellowship, and snacks provided by the three local libraries. Any skill level is invited to recreate a painting following step-by-step instructions from the original artist. All of the supplies will be provided by the libraries. There are only 30 spots available so pre-register at the Arnolds Park Public Library, Spirit Lake Public Library, or the Milford Memorial Library. The cost is $10.00 for early registration and $15 for registration on the day of the event. Registrants will need to pay prior to the event to secure their spot. The Milford Memorial Library Youth Summer Reading Program has come to an end, but kiddos can still earn drawing tickets, a SRP reading sign, and prizes until July 30!
