On Wednesday, July 10, at 2:00 p.m., Ilene Clark will be presenting information on Downsizing and Decluttering. The amount of goods one can accumulate over many years can be overwhelming. Nothing should be off limits. Either use it, love it — or leave it. Don’t wait, it’s time to clean out every nook and cranny! Fans of Tidying Up with Marie Kondo will enjoy this presentation. This program is sponsored by the Friends of the Milford Memorial Library.
Tuesday, July 16, at 10:00 a.m., Milford Memorial Library is showing the movie WALL-E. Everyone is welcome to attend. Free popcorn and water will be provided by the library. There is no pre-registration or cost for this event.
Any interested individuals are welcome to join MML's Book Club on Tuesday, July 16, at 1:00 p.m. The featured book in July is Educated by Tara Westover. Copies of this book can be found in our library. It is not necessary to attend all of the book club meetings, and you are welcome to come and go as you please.
Join MML’s Director, Gillian Anderson, on Wednesday, July 17, at 5:30 p.m., as she guides you in baking a cake that is out of this world. All of the supplies will be provided by the library, and participants can take everything they make home. Pre-registration is required with the cost of the activity being $5.00.
Registration for “A Universe of Stories” Summer Reading Programs are still open. You can pick up a registration form at the library or registration forms are available on our website.
Milford Memorial Library: Youth Corner
Milford Memorial Library has Public Playdates every Monday at 10:00 a.m. This is a relaxed atmosphere where friends can play with items at the library.
The Blank Park Zoo will be at MML at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, July 11. Come meet, pet, and learn about some animals through a friendly Zoo Educator.
Book Buddies (reading with a community member) will begin at 9:30 a.m. on Friday, July 12. Then stay for Building Bookworms at 10:00 a.m. where Miss Becca will have a storytime about the moon (books, songs, moon sand and oreo moon phases craft).
