Fourth through twelfth graders, are able to build a wood block snowman and create a giant brown paper bag snowflake by registering for MML’s Young Adult Snow Challenge. Wednesday, January 17, is Open Craft Night! This Adult Craft Series will be kit only. Available crafts include a Painted Popsicle Sign, Wood Wick Flower Candle, Stained Glass Votive, Live Evergreen Centerpiece, Clay Jewelry, Book Clock, and Foam Snowman. On Tuesday, January 16, at 1:00 p.m., the Milford Memorial Library Book Club will be meeting for discussion of Homecoming by Kate Morton. Any interested individuals are welcome to attend. It is not necessary to attend all of the book meetings, and you can come and go as you please.
Join us on Tuesday, January 23, at 7:00 p.m., at the Arnolds Park Library, for a fun night of painting provided by the three local libraries. This month we will be joined by special guest Kris Walker and she will lead us though a simple landscape painting using only two colors. The cost is $15 for registration. January is off and running, and Milford Memorial Library has great things happening for your family. We have three more opportunities this month for youth programming. They include two Building Bookworms (Jan. 15, at 10:30 a.m. & Jan. 29, at 10:30 a.m.) and Minds in Motion (Jan. 22, at 10:30 a.m.).
