Young Adults, fourth through twelfth graders, are encouraged to accomplish MML’s Young Adult Create a Graphic Novel Challenge Box. They will have the task of creating a new graphic novel. With the author’s permission, their completed graphic novel will be displayed for other patrons read. This is a free activity, but does require registration. Any interested individuals are welcome to join MML's Book Club on Tuesday, January 17, at 1:00 p.m. The featured book, When Breath Becomes Air by Paul Kalanithi, can be found in our library. It is not necessary to attend all of the meetings, and you are welcome to come and go as you please.
Milford Memorial Library is now able to offer the People’s Law Library of Iowa. This is an online resource about Iowa’s laws on topics like family law, landlord/tenant law, consumer law, and more. This is an easy to use and understand information. However, the information on the People’s Law Library of Iowa website is not legal advice. This resource is mad possible by the State of Iowa, the University of Iowa Law library, the Iowa Access to Justice Commission, the Iowa Judicial Branch, and the Iowa State Bar Association.
