Get your game on with MML’s Young Adult Subscription Box: Game Night. Starting on Tuesday, January 11, fourth through twelfth graders will be having fun by discovering new card games, making and competing in table football, and building and playing Mancala. There will be a list of the perfect game night snacks along with a reading list. This subscription box is full of free activities, but does require registration. Join MML for our Adult Craft Series as we make clay jewelry on Wednesday, January 19, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., at Milford Memorial Library. This craft also comes in kit form. The kit will include: clay, jump rings, toothpick and instructions. The cost for this craft is $5.00 and registration is required. By going to, http://milfordlibrary.weebly.com/do-research.html, and clicking on the HelpNow icon, patrons can receive help with a variety of subjects for preschool through collegiate level. This is a free service provided through the State Library of Iowa and local libraries.
Did family and friends recommend a book or movie that MML does not have? Ask about Interlibrary Loan. MML staff is able to locate and borrow most library materials from other libraries. Patrons pay a $1.00 per material. Patrons will be contacted when material(s) arrive. For more information please contact 712-338-4643.

Milford Memorial Library: Youth Corner
Happy New Year to all of our patrons! Milford Memorial Library has new youth book displays up for January. They are the following: food, I Spy, disabilities, winter/snow, and dragons. Please stop by our library to check out some great books to read with your kiddos. Miss Becca has four youth programs throughout January, and they are perfect for the whole family. The Building Bookworms storytimes include Mondays, January 3, 17, and 31. The themes will be bears, snowmen, and penguins. All of the storytimes begin at 10:30 a.m., and they will be in person at the library.There will also be one Afterschool Activity at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday, January 13. This will also be an in person program at the library, and the activity will be air dry clay.
