Milford Memorial Library will be closed on Monday, February 15, in observance of President’s Day. Our normal drive-up hours will resume Tuesday, February 16, at 10:00 a.m.
Join MML’s Adult Craft Series: DIY Lavender Soap. This kit contains goats milk soap base, lavender essential oil, lavender petals, silicone mold, written instructions, and a link to the video tutorial. This craft does require pre-registration and the cost is $5.00. Participants can pick up their kits at the library Friday, February 12, Tuesday, February 16, and Wednesday, February 17. MML’s Young Adult (4th – 12th graders) Subscription Box: Donut Worry, Be Happy is now available through Thursday, February 26. Inside this box are the supplies for creating a Donut Worry, Be Happy sign, ring toss, and mason jar. The icing on the donut will be a playlist, reading list, to-watch list, and recipes. Thursday, February 4, 2021, is Make a Friend Day! We would like to invite you to be a member of the Friend of the Milford Memorial Library Foundation. The Friends Foundation supports the Milford Memorial Library through volunteering and financial assistance with special projects. Membership benefits include our quarterly newsletter, volunteer opportunities, and specific emails about upcoming events. Just a friendly reminder, as many of us are starting on taxes, MML does printing, copying, faxing. Faxes are $3.00 for the first two pages and $0.50 per additional page. Printing and copying can be completed by emailing the library at milfordlibrary51351@gmail.com or bring your papers to the drive-up window. Normal printing prices apply ($0.25 for black and white per page and $0.50 for color per page). You may pick up your printing or drop of your faxes during normal drive-up window hours.

Milford Memorial Library has a lot going on each month, and we would love to have your family stay connected with us. Please follow all of our happenings including youth and Miss Becca through Facebook (@milfordlibrary) and our website (http://www.milford.lib.ia.us).
As always, don’t forget to check out a book from the library, pick up a Grab and Go Bags/Books, and grab a Book Bundle for your family. This month includes Groundhog Day, Valentine’s Day, princesses, emotions, colors, poems, Predator vs. Prey, and Spanish. Please keep in mind that if you reserve anything, pick it up at the drive-up window as soon as possible.
