Milford Memorial Library will be closed on Monday, February 21, in observance of Presidents Day. We will be open on Tuesday, February 22, at 9:30p.m.
Join us on Tuesday, February 22, at 7:00 p.m., at the Arnolds Park Library, for a fun night of painting, fellowship, and snacks provided by the three local libraries. Any skill level is invited to recreate a painting following step-by-step instruction. All of the supplies will be provided by the libraries. There are only 30 spots available so pre-register at the Arnolds Park Public Library, Spirit Lake Public Library, or the Milford Memorial Library. The cost is $15 for registration. Pick up your Blind Date with a Book! Let your intuition be your guide. The titles and descriptions are hidden. You will only know the book’s genre. Blind Date with a Book goes until Monday, February 28. Make sure to fill out the Blind Date with a Book bookmark and return for a chance to win a drawing on Tuesday, March 1.
MML’s Young Adult Subscription Box: You’ve Got the Beat will get Young Adults moving until Friday, February 18. Fourth through twelfth graders will be making a CD Clock and a DIY Phone Amplifier. Milford Memorial Library: Youth Corner
Please make sure to stop by Milford Memorial Library for Building Bookworms on the theme of teeth at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, February 28. There will be stories, songs and rhymes, coloring/activity pages, and a simple craft. The craft will be a marshmallow mouth. MML will also be having two interactive monthly programs in March and April. Read Across America will be celebrated throughout March with a Reading BINGO sheet. At the end of March and beginning of April, there will be an Easter Coloring Contest for four different age groups. Both the BINGO and coloring sheets will be sent to the Okoboji Elementary School, or you are welcome to pick them up at MML. There will be prizes for both programs.
