Milford Memorial Library would like to thank everyone who donated to our food drive for Dickinson County Upper Des Moines Food Bank. Because of your thoughtfulness and generosity, local families will be able to put food on their tables this winter season.
Holiday Hour reminder. MML will be closing at noon on Thursday, December 24, and will be closed on Friday, December 25, for Christmas. We would like to wish you and your family a safe and merry Christmas. We will see you at our drive-up window on Monday, December 28.
Slow down, relax, and enjoy the simple moments with MML’s Young Adult (4th through 12th graders) Subscription Box: A Comfy Cozy January. Inspired by the Danish concept of hygge, a feeling of cozy happiness and well-being through enjoying the simple pleasures in life, this little box of comforts is filled with projects such as a marbleized mug, wooden bead trivets, and a DIY art candle. Nestled inside are recipes of hot chocolate and popcorn, a to-watch list, a reading list, a playlist, and a list of virtual game night ideas. This is a free program, but registration required. Register by calling 712-338-4643 or emailing [email protected]. You may pick up your Comfy Cozy box Tuesday, December 29, through Wednesday, January 27.

Printing a mailing label for a last-minute gift? MML can help you! We can make copies or print materials for your project. You can email the library at [email protected] or bring your papers to the drive-up window. You may pick up your printing during our drive-up hours. Normal printing prices apply ($0.25 for black and white per page and $0.50 for color per page).
Milford Memorial Library’s drive-up window hours are Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and Wednesday 10:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.

Each week there are new books added that can be checked out from the library. There are also important links to MML’s two popular outreach programs entitled Book Bundles and Grab and Go Bags/Books. Reading books and implementing book extensions are great ways to stay connected as a family while encouraging literacy at home.
