This is the last week for MML’s Food Drive for the Dickinson County Upper Des Moines Food Pantry. Donations of nonperishable food items may be placed in the secure tote located beside the library’s front door. Every few hours, Library staff is checking the box and bringing donated items into the library. All donations will be delivered on Friday, December 18, to Dickinson County Upper Des Moines.
Milford Memorial Library will be closing at Noon on Thursday, December 24, and will be closed Friday, December 25, for Christmas. We would like to wish you and your family a safe and merry Christmas. We will see you at the window at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, December 28.
Don’t be late! There’s a very important upcoming date! The last day for MML’s Young Adult (4th -12th Graders) Subscription Box: a Disney December is Wednesday, December 23rd, and then they will be flying back to Neverland. But it’ll all turnout alright, you’ll see, if you register by calling 712-338-4643 or emailing [email protected]. You may pick up your box at the library’s drive-up window. You’ll be off to adventure in the great wide somewhere and discovering whole new worlds.
Making a homemade gift, which requires some printing? MML can help you! We can make copies or print materials for your project. You can email the library at [email protected] or bring your papers to the drive-up window. You may pick up your printing during our drive-up hours. Normal printing prices apply ($0.25 for black and white per page and $0.50 for color per page).
Milford Memorial Library’s drive-up window hours are Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and Wednesday 10:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.

Check out the Grab and Go Bags and Books webpage at Milford Memorial Library. You can read about program details, view pictures of the crafts, and register for the next four months’ worth of bags. If you reserved a bag, please pick them up from the Drive-up Window, whereas the others will be placed outside of the library for the public.
Also during December, Miss Becca will be putting together eight book bundles on different themes. They include: Christmas, Jan Brett, snow, Elephant/Piggie, crafts, survival, dogs, and numbers/counting. Each bundle will have five fiction/non-fiction books. Please contact the library or Miss Becca if you would like to reserve one of these bundles.
