Author William Kent Kruger will be at the Pearson Lakes Art Center on May 13 at 3 p.m. The event is sponsored by the Friends of the Milford Library, Friends of the Arnolds Park Library, and Friends of the Spirit Lake Public Library.
On Wednesday, May 3, at 5:30 p.m., an open meeting of the Board of Trustees for the Milford Memorial Library will take place in the Milford Community Center. The agenda will be posted on MML’s website and front bulletin board at least 24 hours in advance of the meeting. Everyone is welcome to attend and offer their thoughts in order to make MML a better library.
On Tuesday, May 16, at 1:00 p.m., MML’s Open Book Discussion Group will be discussing Remarkably Bright Creatures by Shelby Van Pelt. Copies can be found at the library. Everyone is welcome to attend. It is not necessary to attend all of the book meetings, and you are come to come and go as you please.

Milford Memorial Library: Youth Corner
May is next week, which means it will be our final month of regular school year youth programming at Milford Memorial Library. We would love for your family and friends to join us. There will be two Building Bookworms (storytimes) at 10:30 a.m. on Mondays, May 1, and May 15. The themes will be Mother’s Day (craft: bug jar) and llamas (craft: crinkle paper llama). Afterschool Activity will be at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday, May 11, with the project being point art. Lastly, we will have Minds in Motion (sensory play) at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 16.
