The theme for the 2015 Children’s Summer Reading Program is “On Your Mark, Get Set…Read!” Come to the library Tuesday, July 5, at 10 a.m., to see Jane Shuttleworth with “Ready, Set, Go – Explore Nature!” Young people of all abilities from preschool to 4th grade are invited to participate free of charge. Join the Milford Memorial Library staff for MML's Adult Summer Craft Series this June! Every Wednesday, from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., Milford Memorial Library will host an adult craft. The cost to participate in each project is $2 and registration is required. The Summer Craft Series project for June 29 is Mod Podge Flower Pots. Join us in covering terracotta pots with pictures of old seed packets, twine, and chalkboard paint. Jump Start to Reading is an opportunity for children to read to adults one-on-one on Friday mornings starting July 8 from 9:30 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. Registration forms are available at the circulation desk at the library.
