On Thursday, July 23, at 10:00 a.m., we are excited to welcome cartoonist Dave Carpenter as a presenter for the Teen Summer Reading Program. Dave Carpenter has been a fulltime cartoonist since 1981. His cartoons have appeared in Reader's Digest, The Wall Street Journal, Better Homes & Gardens, Good Housekeeping, as well as numerous other publications. Dave has also illustrated books, magazine articles and covers, along with a variety of other humorous illustration projects. This programming is open to 5th-12th graders.

Join cast members from Stephens College’s Boji Bantam Theatre and the Milford Memorial Library on July 25, in Milford’s Florence Park, at 1:00 p.m., for Story Time in the Park. Come listen to an enchanting story told by well-known characters. This program is open and free to the public.

Jump Start to Reading is an opportunity for children to read to adults one-on-one on Friday mornings from 9:30 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. Registration forms are available at the circulation desk at the library.
