Young adults and adults are invited to come to the Milford Memorial Library for a joint book discussion about Unbroken by Laura Hillenbrand on Wednesday, January 14, at 2:30 p.m. This incredible true story about Louis Zamperini who was an Olympian, World War II bombardier, prisoner, and war hero has been made into a movie and came out in theaters on December 25. Unbroken has been adapted for young adults and we have several of the young adult versions at the library for check out. There will be no Milford Library Board meeting for the month of January. The next meeting will be Wednesday, February 4, at 5:30 p.m.
Need something warm to do on a cold winter day? Thursday, January 8, at 10 a.m., we will be looking for our Shelf Elves. Volunteers take on the task of organizing and cleaning a section of shelves. This helps our librarians and it will make sure you can find the book you are looking for that might have otherwise been misplaced.
Our public storytime is happening this Friday, January 9, at 10 a.m. Join our Children’s Librarian Betty Naab for “Fun in the Snow” stories and a snowman coloring sheet.
