All young adults 5th through 12th grade are invited to come to the library on Wednesday, April 22, after 2:00 p.m., to participate in an upcycling paper craft. We will transform a magazine into a basket.
Wednesday, April 22, is Earth Day. “Look at any randomly selected piece of your world. Its shape, form, function, colour, smell, taste [. . .] and possibilities for the future are all absolutely unique. There is nowhere else in the observable Universe where you will see precisely that little clump of emergent, living complexity. It is wonderful.” Biran Cox, Wonders of Life. Check out this book and many others related to our Earth and recycling at the Milford Memorial Library.
Join us for great stories and much more every Friday morning at 10:00! Betty, our children's librarian, looks forward to sharing stories with you! No pre-registration is necessary. The theme this week is "Plant a Tree."
