This week is National Library Week and it is a celebration of the contribution of libraries across the nation. This is also a time to promote library use and support. On Friday, April 17, from 1-3 p.m., the public is invited to come to the library for an open house. We will have cake and punch. This is a great time to ask our librarians about all the services Milford Memorial Library offers. All week patrons will have the opportunity to write what they like about the Milford Memorial Library on the library windows. Join us in celebrating National Library week.

Next Wednesday, April 22, is Earth Day. All young adults are invited to come to the library after 2:00 p.m. to participate in an upcycling paper craft.
On Tuesday, April 21, at 1:00 p.m., the Open Book Discussion Group will be talking about The Hundred-Foot Journey. This book is about the hundred-foot distance between an Indian kitchen and a French kitchen and the gulf between different cultures.
