Congratulations to Milford Memorial Library’s Spring Egg Hunt Winner Elsie! Thank you to everyone who participated in MML's 2024 Spring Egg Hunt! We are looking forward to next year. Thank you to the Friends of the Milford Library for sponsoring the prize.
During CrAFTER Hours, Milford Memorial Library would like to help you craft your book collection. Join us on April 17, from 5 p.m. - 7 p.m., for a book swap. Bring a book or several books to the Milford Library that you would like to swap before April 17. You will receive a ticket for the number of books you brought in. Use this ticket at the book swap event on April 17 from 5 p.m. - 7 p.m. to take as many books as you brought in. Please only bring in books that are in good condition. Even if you don't have a book to swap, this will be a great chance to talk with others about a book you loved. There is no cost to this event, just books that you would like to swap
Milford Memorial Library’s Young Adult Spring Flower Challenge is going on now! Fourth through twelfth graders will be creating flowers out of buttons, wire, foam, and a salt shaker. This free activity goes until Friday, April 19. Registration is required. Register by calling Milford Memorial Library at 712-338-4643 or online at milfordlibrary.weebly.com/young-adult-registration.html.
What would you do if you opened your front door to a small wooden box with the exact number of years you will live? Would you open it or would you leave it? Join the Milford Memorial Library Book Club on Tuesday, April 16, at 1:00 p.m., to discuss The Measure by Nikki Erlick. Any interested individuals are welcome to attend. It is not necessary to attend all of the book meetings, and you can come and go as you please.
On Tuesday, April 23, at 7:00 p.m., join us at the Arnolds Park Library, for Paint Night at the Library. This month Kathy will lead us though a simple watercolor painting. All supplies are provided by the libraries. Spots are limited so pre-register at Arnolds Park Public Library, Spirit Lake Public Library, or Milford Memorial Library. The cost is $15 for registration. Registrants will need to pay prior to the event to secure their spot. You may also register by going to MML’s website.
