Calling all Busy Brain Gamers (5th- 8th Grade)! Video Games Day is happening on Friday, September 20, at 3:30 p.m., in the library. Please join the fun by playing Wii and Xbox games provided by MML and Exile Gaming.
Join MML and Rich Tyler on Thursday, September 26, at 2:00 p.m., for the program "If Barns Could Talk." What’s happening to our old barns? Will metal replace wood? Why should we care about old barns today? These and other questions will be discussed as the history and current importance of barns are explored. This program is sponsored by the Friends of the Milford Memorial Library and funded by a grant from Humanities Iowa.
Milford Memorial Library: Youth Corner
Public Playdate will be at 5:30 P.M. on Wednesday, September 18, at Milford Memorial Library. Families and kids of all ages are welcome to attend with all of the toys being provided by the library.
Miss Becca will have the first 4-H Clover Kids at 3:30 P.M. on Thursday, September 19. The theme will focus on local and state fairs. Please have your registered youth meet everyone at the Okoboji Elementary Office.
Building Bookworms will be at 10:30 A.M. on Monday, September 23. The theme will be the alphabet with a cute craft of creating the Chicka Chicka Boom Boom tree. This program is open to everyone at no cost.
