All Young Adults, 4th-12th graders, are invited to bring their imaginations to Milford Memorial Library on Wednesday, June 14, for Bad Art Day. From 10:30 a.m. to Noon, they will be letting loose, creating artwork and not worrying about what it looks like. This is a free program and registration is encouraged. Community Connections at MML will be on Thursday, June 15, at 10:30 a.m., at the library. This month’s program is called Spend Smart. Eat Smart. with Dickinson County ISU Extension. Community Connections is open to adults wanting to learn and socialize. Coffee and refreshments are provided by the Friends of the Milford Library. This program is held on the third Thursday of each month at 10:30 a.m. This is a free program and attendees are encouraged to socialize after presentations
Young Adult Summer Subscription Box 1 is now available to pick up for those who registered. This box has supplies for making a duct tape flower pen and a DIY Wreck-It journal. Also included is a basic foot scrub recipe, playlist, and reading list. This is a free activity, but does require registration due to the limit of 50 boxes. Registration can still be done by calling Milford Memorial Library at 712-338-4643, Arnolds Park Library at 712-332-2033, or Spirit Lake Library at 712-336-2667 before Friday, June 16.
Please join MML at the Open book Discussion Group, on Tuesday, June 20, at 1:00 p.m. We will be discussing the featured book, The Hiding Place by Corrie Ten Boom. Any interested individuals may find a copy at the library. It is not necessary to attend all of the meetings, and you are welcome to come and go as you please.
Summer Reading Logs for all ages can now be picked up at MML. Reading logs can be completed from now until Friday, August 4. The Youth program is for kids up to 3rd grade, Young Adult is for 4th through 12th grades, and Adult is for everyone else.

Milford Memorial Library welcomes everyone to the 2023 Summer Reading Program, Find Your Voice! All of the summer information can be found at our library, on our Facebook page, and on our website (summer tab on the left).
Miss Becca has some great programs at the library including Minds in Motion and Building Bookworms. Minds in Motion will take place at 3:00 p.m. each Monday in June and on July 10. This is a sensory based program with a variety of items for the kiddos to explore and play with on their own. Building Bookworms is a storytime full of stories, movement, learning, and crafts. All of the dates take place at 10:30 a.m. on Thursdays with one exception on June 21 at 1:30 p.m. They include June 8 (Kindermusik), June 21 (ISU 4-H & Youth), June 29 (superheroes), July 6 (Pearson Lakes Art Center), and July 13 (ourselves).
