
Wednesday, August 14, from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., test your space knowledge at MML. Categories will range from facts to science fiction. This is a free event, however, pre-registration is required. Registration must be done in teams of 2 through 6. All materials will be provided by the library.
Any interested individuals are welcome to join MML's Book Club on Tuesday, August 20, at 1:00 p.m. The featured book in August is The Great Alone by Kristian Hannah. Copies of this book can be found in our library along with other local area book clubs. It is not necessary to attend all of the book club meetings, and you are welcome to come and go as you please.
Youth and Young Adult Summer Reading Logs will be due on Friday, August 16, at 5:00 p.m. Announcements of winners will be made shortly after.
Kevin Wood will bring Abraham Lincoln to life at the Milford Memorial Library on Tuesday, August 27, at 2:00 p.m. with his program titled “A New Birth of Freedom.” This program is sponsored by the Friends of the Milford Memorial Library, Friends of the Spirit Lake Public Library, and the Friends of the Arnolds Park Public Library.

Milford Memorial Library has its last week of summer programming on Friday, August 16. It will be a day full of fun with Book Buddies at 9:30 a.m., Building Bookworms: A Sky Full of Stories (Q-Tip Star Art and Constellation Sensory Bags) at 10:00 a.m., and all day to turn in your Reading Logs for prizes and coupons.
Normal monthly youth programming will start back in September, so please stay tuned to MML’s website and social media.
