Milford Memorial Library invites everyone to join us for the 2024 Summer Reading Program: Read, Renew, Repeat. We have programs and activities for all ages. For more information call MML at 712-338-4643 or stop in and talk with a librarian. We are excited to hang out with you this summer!
Incoming 5th through 12th graders are invited to the Teen and Tween Summer Reading Kick Off. Where they will be bowling and eating pizza. Registration is encouraged. Help Milford Memorial Library, Arnolds Park Library, and Spirit Lake Public Library celebrate the 2024 Youth Summer Reading Program Kick Off by joining us on Thursday, May 30, at the Milford Pioneer Theatre for Madagascar Escape 2 Africa. Showings are at 10:30 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. Bring two nonperishable food items and receive one free popcorn. Other concession items will be available at your cost.
Milford Memorial Library’s Building Bookworms Storytime will be on Monday, June 3, at 10:30 a.m. We will have a special guest from Iowa Lakeside Lab joining us!
MML’s Minds in Motion sensory play will be on Monday, June 3, at 3:00 p.m.
The Friends of the Milford Library Foundation received a grant from the Dickinson County Endowment Fund for $2,500 in August of 2023 to start digitizing yearbooks in the Milford Memorial Library collection. We have completed the digitization of 39 of our yearbooks from 1918 – 1977. More are currently going through the digitization process.
